Our community farm sustains families who care for orphans and the elderly - leaving a lasting trail of hope through Christ.
We’re the Jahns, a normal family of four from Nampa, Idaho, saying YES to God’s call and stepping out in faith to serve in Uganda. What started as a simple desire to help has grown into a life-changing mission to bring hope, discipleship, and practical support to families and communities in need. We believe strong families are the foundation of strong communities — and that through Christ, restoration is possible.
In Uganda, we’ll be partnering with local churches and families to teach biblically based marriage and parenting classes, share the gospel, and operate a community farm that provides food and education. The farm will serve as a place of learning and ministry — offering training in animal husbandry, providing food to elderly and orphaned families, and creating opportunities for sustainable growth. We’re an ordinary family following an extraordinary God, trusting Him every step of the way as we leave behind comfort to walk in obedience. Our prayer is that through this journey, others will be encouraged to say yes to wherever God is calling them too.
At East Trail Legacy, we believe that every seed sown in love has eternal impact. Through your generosity, families in Uganda are learning the truth of God’s Word, discovering hope, and building lives rooted in faith. Each contribution—no matter the size—helps provide food, discipleship, and practical skills that strengthen marriages, parents, and communities.
We know that every gift is an act of trust and sacrifice, and we don’t take that lightly. Your support is more than financial—it’s partnership in the Gospel. Together, we are showing the love of Christ through teaching, farming, and caring for those in need. Please pray about joining us in this work. When you give, you help us plant seeds of faith that will grow into strong families and lasting legacies for generations to come.
